Communications Energy and Paperworkers - CEP

Formed in 1992 as a merger of three unions, CEP represents 150,000 workers in industries as diverse as pulp and paper mills, telephone companies, oil, gas, chemical and mining industries, printing, journalism, broadcasting, graphic arts, hospitality, computer programming, trucking and nursing.

Represents 220 men and women employed at Mackenzie Pulp in Mackenzie, British Columbia.

Represents pulp and paper mill and lumber mill workers in Campbell River, B.C.

Represents workers at three television stations in the Edmonton market; A-Channel, Corus and Global.

Represents 2,000 workers at newspapers, commercial publishers and print shops in Winnipeg, Brandon, Manitoba and Thunder Bay.

Represents telephone workers in Belleville, Ontario.

Representing 900 pulp and paper workers at 18 plants in and around Vancouver.

Represents over 500 workers at Scott Paper Limited in New Westminister, B.C.

Represents employees at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Toronto.

Represents workers at Montell Canada in Sarnia, Ontario.

Represents information technology workers at ISM Information Systems Management Corporation, an IBM company, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Located in Winnipeg, Local 7 represents the Clerical Employees of MTS Communications, MTS Advanced and MTS Mobility and Local 55 represents the Operator Services Emloyees of MTS Communications.
